It's not a horror game - unless it happens to hit upon one (or more) of your personal fears. Fortnite can be horrific if you're agoraphobic. I've played through Subnautica at least a dozen times and have never once felt fear.

If anything you are the apex predator once you get a Seatruck, and that happens *very* early. Best you can hope for is an initial jumpscare.
